8 things about me

Well, I got tagged. Here goes...

1. I will be thouroghly disappointed if Harry Potter dies in the upcoming book.

2. I have memorized three movies and one Shakespearean play.

3. I can't stand Mariachi/Zydeco music.

4. I'm currently learning to use a tuning fork.

5. I tend to put people I admire up on pedestals and I am viciously loyal to them.

6. I really, really like junk food. And I can't keep it in my house because I have no will power, in that respect.

7. I'm pretty intuitive, especially in regards to people's feelings. I have to remind myself to not get too nosy or too paranoid.:)

8. If somebody praises me, I will be in a good mood for days.

Also...

This is little Elizabeth Rutledge.

O Lord of Sabaoth, the God of Israel, who healest every malady and every infirmity: Look upon thy servant; prove her and search her, and root out of her every operation of the Devil. Rebuker the unclean spirits and expel them, and purify the works of thy hands; and exerting thy trenchant might, speedily crush down Satan under her feet; and give her victory over the same, and over his foul spirits; that having obtained mercy from thee, she may be made worthy to partake of thy heavenly Mysteries; and may ascribe unto thee glory: to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit: now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Yummy Salad

I made a filling, tasty and lenten salad today. Thought I'd share:

Ingredients:
One Cucumber (thinly chopped)
2 Tomatos (medium sized)
1/4 cup onion (minced)
4 tablespoons cashews (chopped)
1/2 clove of garlic (minced; the fresher the better)

Mix in a bowl and eat! I ate it with a dressing that I make.

Dressing:
4 tablespoons(ish) balsamic vinegar
Splash of lemon (or lime)
a little bit of salt
a little bit of pepper
a little bit (very little) of garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon vegetable oil

Mix well! If not, balsamic vinegar would do.

Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
